Goldenrod Cemetery, Whitman, WA 2011
This is similar to the Oakesdale Cemtery project, just 15 years later, using very different tools. These cemeteries, looking like they've been plunked down in the mddle of wheatfields,are fascinating and very beautiful. Like an oasis in the dessert they are green and soft , with ample shade from the summer sun. I made these pictures in May.
